The clear hopper lets you know when it is time to refill. Hopper is criss-crossed with thin metal staves. Use your favorite seed or mix. Seed falls through 3 ports. Holds 3.5 lbs of seed or seed mix.

Heath Outdoor Products™ began as Heath Manufacturing Company in 1948. The Heath family wanted to make bird feeders for a local retailer. The beginnings of this nearly 70-year-history may have been simple, but over time the company has built something truly remarkable on it’s quiet beginnings.

Heath Expands

Over the next twenty years, the company expanded to offer birdhouses, suet and garden products. Based in Michigan, the cold weather encouraged the introduction of suet cakes in 1958. The line includes pure suet with no additives and others that are mixtures of seeds, grains and nuts. Each is specifically formatted for the type of bird it is meant to attract. These days, all of Heath’s suet products are produced at the company’s Coopersville manufacturing plant.

Heath Manufacturing Rebrands

Throughout the 2000’s the company continued to grow. In 2005 they acquired an extensive line of U.S. Flags and accessories. The move prompted the name change, from Heath Manufacturing Company to Heath Outdoor Products™.
