Description

You can’t miss this quirky and delightful bottle nectar feeder. The sturdy metal bottle holder and base is fashioned to look like aged pewter. Straight out of the old trading post this country styling is functional and durable. Cute and perky orange blooms cap each feeding station to discourage bees from using the feeder. Your orioles will love this easy access design. Filling and cleaning is easy and you will love that. It hangs from thick metal wire and you can see the resemblance to those neat canning jar holders of yore.

The Orioles love this feeder, the bees are kept at bay by the orange flexible flowers, however, the flowers are loved so much by the Orioles, they enthusiastically push their bills into the flexible soft orange blossoms, and the Orioles make the hole for feeding too wide and the bees are more than happy to enter and drown in the nector. If they would sell the replacement flowers, there would be a big line, waiting to purchase the replacements. But, we can’t find the flowers for sale anywhere.

This oriole feeder is a beauty, but the plastic orange bee guard covers for the holes are deteriorating. I have not been able to find them anywhere. I am now in the process of contacting Menards directly where I purchased the feeder. Need to be able to buy the replacement parts at the same location the feeders are sold. What to do???
